My office has some big changes coming up and have told me to go out and buy a smartphone to be able to handle them while I'm on the go.
I've heard great things about both the iPhone and Droid, so I'm really not sure which one to get. So will you help me?
If you have either phone, will you please leave me a comment or send me an email with your thoughts? Although my office will be paying for the upgrade, I want to make the best decision for a phone that will last me a couple of years. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I am an AT&T customer and don't intend to change.
Thanks friends!

I can't say anything about the android but here are some things on the iPhone:
ReplyDelete#1 There are tons of apps.
#2 It frequently drops calls. (at least up here in STL)
#3 It takes a bit to get used to the touch screen when texting.
#4 It is really convenient to be able to access the internet from anywhere and have it actually look the same as your internet at home.
I'm obsessed with Apple products, namely my MacBook Pro and iPhone 4, so clearly I'm biased. I've also never owned an Android based phone, so I can't compare the two. I can easily browse the web, check my email and facebook, and text, which are the main things I do on my iPhone. I don't spend much time talking, so dropped calls aren't an issue for me.
ReplyDeleteA quick Google search puts Android phones on top of iPhones for the most part, so your best bet may be to go to the store to try them out yourself. I think it's a win-win either way. Good luck!
While I love Macs and anything Apple, I have a Droid and I love it! I have the HTC incredible with Verizon, but I've seen other Droids and they're great! They do a lot of the same things as iPhones. I don't use a lot of apps, so I can't tell you much about that, but I text, email, talk, and use the internet and all are super easy and give me no trouble.
