What I'm Loving
{1} I'm loving that we had another great dr. appt. yesterday and still have a big, healthy baby. The heartbeat ranged between the 120s, 130s and 140s ... so I'm really thinking boy :)
{2} I'm LOVING that other than a few touch ups, the painting is done in the nursery! Now on to getting the furniture in place.
{3} I'm LOVING that I get a four-day weekend. Yay for fall break!
{4} I'm LOVING that my sweet mom is going to come and help me organize baby stuff and deep clean the next day and a half :)
{5} I'm LOVING the great maternity pictures I've seen. I wasn't sure about doing them, but I'm *so glad* I did and will always have these photos to remember such a special time in my life. If/when there is a baby dos, I will do them again.
{6} I'm LOVING my hardworking hubby, who is busting his booty to help get this nursery done.
{7} I'm LOVING that my alma mater is celebrating its 100th Homecoming this weekend! Cheers to Mizzou, where Homecoming began. I'll be wearing my black and gold :)
{8} I'm LOVING the sweet baby gifts that were left at our house yesterday. A friend went way over the top - I actually commented that she must have won the lottery or something. She not only brought a box of diapers for stinky butt and a lot of gear for the vehicles, but the convertible carseat for J's truck. He was so excited to have a carseat for his vehicle too, and this one goes from infant to a booster seat, so we'll never have to upgrade.
{9} I'm LOVING that I heard back from a potential babysitter yesterday and it looks like we should be good to go! We're meeting with her next week. The best parts? We are sort of related, and she lives about three miles from our house. So even if I work from home or am sick, it's not a big deal for me to still take babe to daycare. And it's much easier for J to pick him/her up if I'm working late - he has a five minute drive from home once he drops off his big work truck, instead of 15 to go all the way back into town.

Love the pics, again! Glad you are on the downhill slope with the pregnancy and I agree, I think it is a boy :)
ReplyDeleteGlad everything is going well with Tuff...and I can't wait for nursery pics! :)
ReplyDeleteIs 170 normal for a first visit? It seems high after looking at your numbers?
ReplyDeleteYay for the painting being done and for fall break!
Getting a car seat you don't have to upgrade is wonderful. I really want something that I can carry a newborn in for the first few months - like when the baby is sleeping and going into a store. So I feel the need to get the carrying kind but I wish I didn't so I wouldn't have to upgrade.
I love the pictures!! It's so exciting to be getting everything ready for the baby!! :)
