I can't even remember the last time I blogged. And honestly, I have no excuse. In the past two weeks, I've been off seven days - four days for snow and three for a spring break.
During the snow/ice, I holed up and kept inside. I also devoted a big chunk of time to a freelance job I am working on. The extra $$ will be very nice for our budget :)
Last week, during spring break, I tried to declutter. I took about 1.5 totes of clothing to consignment. Then on Friday and Saturday, I did a yard sale with some of the extra stuff. All in all, I think I got rid of about three boxes of stuff, so I'm definitely not complaining
Weight loss is going well. I am now at 15 lbs. lost and see a TON of muscle gain. About a month ago, I had some knee pain after walking at an incline on the treadmill. After resting for a week and it feeling great, I went for a run outside (best pace at that point, 8:42 min/mile) and once I stopped after 2 miles, I could barely walk. Unfortunately it still hasn't completely healed and we think it's a torn miniscus.
I'm still part of a challenge group on facebook and the #stopandgivemethirty group on IG and they are both such great motivators.
We've had a few nice days here and there and so enjoy getting to spend a little time outside when we can!
Little Mister Cooper is growing up so, so fast! He's talking in complete sentences for the most part. And he's meaner than mean ... but I love it. We are working on potty training and it's a real touch and go situation.
We've hit a crazy time at work and are very busy. Lots of evening stuff coming up. Two nights in a row is too much for this mama!
AND we are just weeks away from our California trip! I am tanning, having fun making plans, and excited to pack! The bride is coming in this weekend so we are doing a little bachelorette at the winery and I am so very excited. Anyone from the LA area on here? What do we need to do while out there?

Sounds like everyday life is keeping you busy!
ReplyDeletePotty training a boy is tough. Everyone told me they were easier than girls. I disagree, our two girls were much easier.
Enjoy your upcoming trip :)
